Taylor Power

We all know or should know what is being referenced by "Taylor Power".  Meaning the importance of Chester Taylor.  He has been an unbelievable relief for A.P. when it seems the All Day aspect of A.P. isn't necessarily "All Game".  When the break away speed or frequent big play ability of A.P. is set aside, going to Chester Taylor has no real drop off when it comes to ability or production.  Matter of fact, he has his own break away moments.  Not really the same speed as A.P., but when we are honest, more speed than most back-up RBs in the league.  Yes, we have all seen A.P. literally run over defensive players of all positions.  A.P. has publicly stated he couldn't possibly be in the position he is in during this early stage of his career without the relief C.T. provides.  Without Taylor Power, the All Day factor of A.P. would greatly diminish over the span of a grooling NFL season.  The Vikes need to make sure they keep C.T. happy or how quickly A.P. gets run down or burned out will become a factor sooner than later in his career.  Having the Bruise and Flash tandem is a blessing the Vikes should charish, which I am certain they do!

  1. Very true...of course, with the way that running backs are currently utilized in the NFL (one feature back and one backup, not both on the field together), I almost wish that I could "cash in" Taylor for a wide receiver of his caliber!  Realistically, his talents are wasted on the Vikings even though he helps us out tremendously.
