Who am I?

A lifelong Viking fan who has never resided in Minnesota, I have faithfully followed all that is Gridiron Viking with great Purple Pride. From the glory days of Bud Grant and the Purple People Eaters to the troubling times of the brief Les Steckel era, the mindboggling episode that was the Dennis Green regime and enigmatic tenure of Mike Tice, my passion and zeal for Viking Valhalla has never waned. In recent years, I have moved to the Midwest ('burbs of Chicago) and have been able to introduce my children to the Vikings' experience by attending a few games as well as training camp. I have celebrated the great victories and cried like a baby over the worst defeats (i.e. 4 SB's & the NFC Champ games of '98 and '00)!

A devoted husband and a father of four, I am committed to raising up the next generation of Viking faithful and enjoy discuss the Vikings year round.

New to the Blogging World posted on 02/16/2008

Though a newbie to the world of blogging, I am anything but new to the world of Vikings. A devoted fan for over 30 years (though never a MN resident), I have passionately paid very close attention to the comings and goings of eveything important concerning the Minnesota Vikings (at least since the technological revolution we call the internet). Only recently have I decided that instead of just listening to all the voices out there, I would humbly join the fray and attempt to offer a new and fresh voice to the discussion. 

From free agency to the players combine and league draft in the spring months to the signing of rookies, arrival at training camp and preseason necessities (some actually call them games) in the summer months, I will strive to offer insight and reflection that is informative, thought-provoking and unique.  As the season arrives I will attempt to provide analysis of future opponents while playing armchair quarterback with post-game analysis and commentary in a postive yet critical manner.
