The Minnesota Vikings came into the season with high expectations, some would say Super Bowl aspirations. With the emergence of Adrian Peterson and the off-season signing of Jared Allen, the Vikings look good on paper. When Monday night arrived all the talking was thrown out the window and the Vikings and Packers squared off in their bitter rivalry. The Vikings offense was exactly what I expected, great run game, awful pass game and a inexperienced quarterback. The Defense was solid, but they gave up two big plays: A 50+ yard bomb to Greg Jennings, which should have been broken up if the Vikings had a halfway decent corner, and a 50+ run to an average RB in Ryan Grant. The Vikings hung in their in the end, showing sign of life and a chance to steal the game in Lambeau, but let's face it. Nobody thought Tarvaris Jackson was going to march down the field for a game winning drive, instead he capped it off with a miscommunication with his WR, resulting in a INT...figures.
